Much fun and discovery was had by the interior design community at Spring Thing 2011. The April event at Decorative Center Dallas offered showroom hospitality, a CEPH/CEU course and several amazing raffle prizes.
On day one, attendees enjoyed luncheons at Miele, Kisabeth Furniture, Poggenpohl, Pettigrew Associates and National Office Furniture. Lunch was followed by a tour of 15 showroom open house offerings throughout Decorative Center Dallas. That evening, McGannon Showrooms hosted a happy hour, which was followed by a complimentary CEPH/CEU course presented by Donna Vining and hosted by Scott + Cooner. he day concluded with cocktail party at Mody & Mody where winners of the raffle drawing were announced.

Day two included the Spring Thing Fling Progressive Cocktail Party. The raffle drawing for prizes over $1,000 took place at TKO Associates, following the chef demonstration at bulthaup and Italian cocktails and appetizers at Luxury Living.

In the Fall, Decorative Center Dallas will host Celebration of Design. The event will take place on October 11 – 14 and will again offer showroom hospitality in addition to several hours of CEPH credit and other professional development opportunities. ASID’s Student Symposium will conclude the event on Friday, October 14th.
